| Runs in an Over | How many runs will be scored in a specific over? |

Open an Account NowWhat Is a Betting Exchange?
In a regular sportsbook you bet against the bookmaker. In a betting exchange you bet against other players — the platform only acts as an intermediary.
There are two key concepts in an exchange — Back and Lay.
| Back Bet | Lay Bet |
|---|---|
| Betting that something will happen | Betting that something will not happen |
| Like a regular sportsbook | You take on the role of the bookmaker |
| Bangladesh will win — a Back bet | Bangladesh will not win — a Lay bet |
| If you win, you receive according to the odds | If you win, you receive the stake; if you lose, you must pay out |
A Working Example
Say you Back Bangladesh at odds of 2.5 with ৳1,000. If Bangladesh wins, you receive ৳2,500 (profit ৳1,500). If they lose, you forfeit ৳1,000.
On the other hand, if you Lay Bangladesh at odds of 2.5 with ৳1,000 — if Bangladesh loses, you receive ৳1,000. But if they win, you must pay out ৳1,500.
Difference: In an exchange, odds come from the supply and demand of other players. The platform takes a small commission on each successful trade — but this is generally lower than the margin of a regular sportsbook.

A guide to understanding RTP and House Edge
RTP, or Return to Player, is the percentage of total bets in a game that is expected to be returned to players over the long term. For example — if a slot has an RTP of 95%, it means that on average ৳95 will come back for every ৳100 bet over the long term. However, this is not a guarantee for any single session.
House edge is the flip side of RTP — that is, the percentage the platform retains on average over the long term. A 95% RTP means a house edge of 5%.
Typical RTP range for slot games
Maximum RTP in blackjack
Typical RTP range in roulette
Typical RTP range in baccarat
Understanding volatility is also important. In a high-volatility game, wins are less frequent but larger; in a low-volatility game, wins are smaller but more frequent. Knowing the RTP and volatility of the game you are playing makes budget management easier.
